2011. REFORMS FOR RECOVERY. THE CRISIS CAME WITHOUT

I finished my last post in this blog saying that come out of the crisis despite the opposition of PP in each and every one of the measures the Government has been promoting with responsibility and sense of state during the years 2009 and 2010.
2011 will be the final year of reforms to bring Spain into the recovery levels of the leading countries of the European Union.
In our country, the level of reforms undertaken by the various governments have always been related to the policies that shape our welfare state.
There are means, despite the electoral discourse and opportunist PP, symptoms that are occurring recovery, but we should also be aware that is not yet strong enough to allow viewing the job creation that we would all like.
is unquestionable that the reforms so far are beginning to bear fruit.
However, the reforms in Spain have always been accompanied by controversy and opposition from one sector or another, but it is fair to say that once the reforms have been underway, we have all advocated what was the product of social opposition and policy.
regard to the reforms carried out by the various governments in the early years of socialist governments, we take great responsibility undertake the reform of the industrial sector, energy, labor and the protection of workers.
In 1983 the Congress of Deputies upheld the Decree Law of Industrial Restructuring in Spain, approved the National Energy Plan, the National Accord and the Confederal on employment and in 1984 adopted the Agreement and the Economic and Social Law on protection against unemployment.
regard to the reforms carried out by the PP with Aznar as President, one of them was the Education Reform 2002, which led the general strike of 20-J and five years later was annulled by the Constitutional Court.
That was the way to reform the PP, but forget that.
And the icing on the reforms was the Land Act of 1998 that increased land prices by 500% and gave rise to the problem of the housing bubble that we all suffer today in Spain, we have mortgages and those without.
face of it, the socialist policies towards people and the poorest social sectors, have been and will remain our hallmark so vital policy and demonstrates the balance of investments made by Zapatero's government from 2004 to today 2011.
The key investment and social spending in millions of euros since José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero is the President have increased by 60% or whatever it is, at 70,000 million euros.
Thus, minimum pensions between 2004 and 2011 have won 27% of purchasing power, while between 1996 and 2004 the increase was only 3.6%.
And in regard to unemployment benefit, nearly 3 million people receive an allowance, which represents a coverage rate of 75.4%, much higher than it was in 2004 and was then 60%.
No color.

important thing is that the reforms did the socialists in the past have made possible the development in our country of a system or welfare state that enables social cohesion among its citizens.
The reforms being undertaken by the Socialist government is, despite the irresponsible attitude of the PP, which are essential at this time.
These reforms, as at other times we explain that citizens understand.
The balance is positive, because we are a coherent, modern, progressive and committed to the social cohesion of society.
